Trail Conditions — Cross-Country Skiing

At the beginning of the winter season, snowfall may be minimal. A minimum of 4-6 inches of snow is needed to pack trails depending on moisture content. When snow depth increases, trails will be groomed with tracks for classical skiing set.

Due to weather and other conditions (snowfall, wind, condition of snow, vegetation and trail terrain), cross-country ski trail conditions may change and trails may occasionally be closed. Some trails may also be congested during certain times when they are used for cross-country ski races. Before you head out, check trail conditions below, or call the park you wish to visit.

A daily pass or annual ski pass can be purchased online.

Advance equipment reservation is required. Cross-country ski sets can be reserved up to seven days in advance as trail conditions allow. Reserve your skis.
