Hyland Visitor Center
The Hyland Visitor Center is located within Hyland's Recreation Area, which includes an award-winning play area. The visitor center features limited concessions, restrooms, a fire place and cross-country ski rental in winter.

Boat ramp and accessibility improvements
Improvements to the boat ramp access road, boat ramp, fishing pier and adjacent trail at Hyland Lake Park Reserve are being made this summer and fall. The access road, boat ramp and trail are being rebuilt to provide improved surfaces and greater accessibility for park guests. The project requires the boat ramp and access road, boat rental building, beach and fishing pier to be closed from August 5, 2024, through November 2024.
Watercraft rentals will be unavailable at Hyland Lake Park Reserve during the project. Check out other Three Rivers parks where you can rent watercraft.

Parking
Daily parking fees apply to commercial vehicles, buses, or vans. Reservations for commercial vehicles must be made at least two weeks in advance by calling 763-559-6700.
Richardson Nature Center
Richardson Nature Center provides a place for people to explore nature and engage with their environment. Education programs are available for groups and individuals.
Rental Spaces
Hyland Visitor Center can be reserved for groups and offers scenic views of Hyland Lake and the renowned creative play area just outside.
