More About Silverwood OnStage

All Silverwood OnStage events are free of charge and open to the public. All ages are welcome. To fully enjoy the performances, audience-goers may wish to bring lawn chairs, blankets, a picnic meal and friends or family.

Unless otherwise noted, performances occur outdoors in the amphitheater from 6:30–8 PM. In the event of inclement weather, performances may be moved inside the Visitor Center Great Hall when feasible.

Jam for Gender Justice

Wednesday, June 3 | 6–8:30 PM

Kicking off both Pride Month and the Silverwood OnStage summer concert series, the second annual Jam for Gender Justice is an event focused on supporting gender equity.

This family-friendly event will feature performances by local musicians, a vendor expo and food available for purchase from a local food truck. Performances will take place from 6:30–8 PM in the outdoor amphitheater or in the Visitor Center's Great Hall in case of inclement weather.

2026 Juneteenth Celebration: Freedom Remembered, Community Alive

Wednesday, June 17 | 6:30–8 PM

Three Rivers invites the community to Silverwood Park for a fun-filled evening celebrating Juneteenth. The event recognizes the moment when freedom was finally announced to the last enslaved African Americans and calls attention to both the promise and the unfinished work of democracy.

Festivities will include live music by Obi Original and the Black Atlantics from 6:30–8 PM, a local market featuring community resources and vendors, food available for purchase from a local food truck, drop-in artmaking activities and an interactive space for youth.

Float-in Movie Theater on Silver Lake

Saturday, July 18 | 9–11 PM

Pack your boat with snacks and watch a movie on the water. Float or paddle up for a film projected on a large inflatable screen on the shore of Silver Lake. Limited space on the shore will also be available, with viewing options in front of or behind the rear-projected screen for those who prefer to bring a chair 

One night only. In the event of inclement weather, the movie will be rescheduled for Friday, July 24. 

This year's float-in movie title will be announced via social media closer to the event.

Mixed Precipitation’s Pickup Truck Opera: Tales of Hoffmann

Wednesday, August 26 | 6:30–8 PM

Follow the wild adventures of traveling poet, Hoffmann, as he seeks love and creative inspiration in a world overrun by technology. He meets ghosts, robots, magicians and shape-shifting demons in this lively fantasy. With a mix of 1990s grunge and R&B, the Pickup Truck Opera is a one-of-a-kind mix of classical opera and pop tunes you'll love. Fun for all ages!

All performances are offered for a suggested donation ($5–$45). All are welcome and no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Children under twelve are welcome to attend for free.

Field Trip: 17th Annual Art and Nature Festival

Saturday, September 12 | 12–4 PM

Featuring a local artist market, outdoor artmaking, nature activities, live music, food trucks and more!

Live music by Funk N Spuds (Fusion) from 12:30–2 PM and Yellow Ostrich (Indie Rock) from 2:30–4 PM.

Gallery Receptions

Mingle with artists during receptions of their latest exhibitions. The receptions are free for all ages.
