Volunteers share their passions and talents to help Three Rivers Park District carry out its mission to promote environmental stewardship through recreation and education in a natural resources-based park system.

Short-term and ongoing opportunities are also available for groups. Volunteer groups have been a big help with the many events hosted at Three Rivers Parks, and with larger environmental projects.
Scouts and Youth Leaders
Opportunities are available to youth for leadership and service learning/experiential education. Review the volunteer positions available and contact the site that you are interested in. Service learning opportunities are available for individuals and for groups.
Service Award Projects for motivated scouts are also an option at Three Rivers.
Volunteers are needed to help with registration, activities, water stops and more.
Ongoing Park District Volunteers earn benefits such as a Volunteer Fun Pass, which gives access to many park facilities at reduced rates or for free and provides greater rewards the more you volunteer.
