Three Rivers Parks Will Hold Scheduled Deer Hunts

Three Rivers Park District will conduct scheduled deer hunts this fall intended to keep deer herds in balance with available habitat.

Archery deer hunts will take place in a number of parks throughout the Park District. These parks will remain open and will allow access to paved and turf trails, dog off-leash areas, horse trails, golf courses and picnic areas during the hunt period. Most of the listed parks have had hunts in previous years. Elm Creek is the only new archery hunt for 2023.

A shotgun deer hunt is scheduled November 11–12 at Carver Park Reserve, Victoria. During the shotgun hunt, Carver Park will be closed to all park visitors.
