2023–2024 Winter Snowplowing on Regional Trails
From November 1 through April 15, winter maintenance is performed on more than 120 miles of the regional trail system. This is achieved through a partnership between Three Rivers Park District and local cities.
Plowing response times will vary across the system and are dependent on local city plowing schedules and priorities. Bridges and boardwalks may take extra time as they often require specialized equipment for winter maintenance.
