Cedar Lake Farm Shoreline Access Project
A shoreline access improvement project at Cedar Lake Farm Regional Park in New Prague is beginning in May. The project will:
- improve and increase shore fishing access on Cedar Lake
- increase accessibility for shore fishing and lakeside access at the park
- help protect the shoreline and natural resources by reducing shore fishing from unauthorized areas of the park
Improvements will include an accessible fishing pier, ADA improvements to the existing pier and limestone stepping stones.
The project is funded through a Metropolitan Council Equity Grant awarded to Scott County in 2021. Project partners include Let's Go Fishing, ProAct Inc., Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Fishing in the Neighborhood and Three Rivers Park District's Outdoor Recreation School.
