Join us for a daylong festival to celebrate all things biking! Whether you enjoy road biking, gravel biking or mountain biking, or have ridden for years or not at all, there's something for you at Trail Spin! Bike to the event, bring your own bike or rent one from the fleet on-site, as available.

  • Take a class. Check out the schedule below for options to learn about bike maintenance, bike camping, yoga that's specifically geared toward cyclists and more!
  • Join the festival. Dine from a food truck or drink local beer with other cyclists. Check out bike gear, a skills course, and bike safety and gear demonstrations. Get a free bike tune-up or helmet fitting.
  • Head out on the trails. Join a guided ride — or follow a trail on your own — throughout Carver Park Reserve. 
  • Embrace your creative side by decorating your bike or making a tie-dye tee!
  • Explore the park. There's more to discover at Carver Park Reserve, from the nature center to a historic site to hiking trails and a swimming beach.

Check out these special, scheduled offerings in the Springview festival area!

There's an opportunity to join a guided, 2-mile ride on paved trails throughout Carver Park Reserve every hour.

  • 11 AM — Intro to Mountain Biking (45 mins.) 
  • 11:30 AM — Guided Trail Ride Through Carver Park Reserve (45 mins., paved trail) 
  • 12 PM — Bike Maintenance Tips & Tricks (30 mins.) 
  • 12:30 PM — Guided Trail Ride Through Carver Park Reserve (45 mins., paved trail) 
  • 1 PM — Intro to Mountain Biking (45 mins.) 
  • 1:30 PM — Guided Trail Ride Through Carver Park Reserve (45 mins., paved trail)

Join the Festival

Socialize, refuel and get pumped with other cyclists at the Springview festival area, with music provided by J.Juice!

  • Explore bike gear, and check out bike safety and gear demonstrations.
  • Try out the skills course, which has features for beginners and experienced riders, staffed by the Yardi MTB staff.
  • Grab local BBQ catered by Divine Swine, a summer treat from Stonehouse Catering, a Thai dish with a twist from Sawatdee, or enjoy a local brew from Big Woods Brewery, Lift Bridge or New Belgium.

Learn New Skills and Ride the Trails

  • Attend the Intro to Mountain Biking class to learn singletrack basics, from gear and what you can expect on the trail. Presented by the Loppet Foundation.
  • Join a 2-mile guided ride on paved trails throughout the park.
  • Explore the singletrack on your own and check out the newly added expert features in the Paradise Playground section!
  • A wide variety of bikes — from strider balance bikes for toddlers to adapted bikes to road and mountain bikes for kids, teens and adults — will be available for rent. Check in at the bike tent on the day of event to see what is available.

Get Creative

  • Make a custom tie-dye Three Rivers T-shirt. We'll supply the tees — you just need to bring your artistic side!
  • Check out the bike-decoration station, where you can use sustainably sourced materials to accessorize your bike. Team members from Curiosity Studio will be nearby to help inspire creativity.

Explore Carver Park Reserve

While you're in Carver Park Reserve, check out the nature center, the Grimm Farm Historic site, hiking trails or lakes.

From 10 AM–3 PM:

  • Stop by Lowry Nature Center anytime during the event to explore the nature center, borrow nets and explore the pond, or meet one of the raptors.
  • Participate in pioneer activities for all ages or take a self-guided tour at the Grimm Farm Historic Site.
