Three Rivers Park District plans events throughout the year that celebrate the changing seasons in Minnesota, welcoming everyone to experience our stunning parks, trails, facilities and offerings.

These Signature Events invite individuals, families, community partners and local businesses to gather and connect to nature through recreation and education.

Winter Activities at Various Parks
Festival at Hyland Lake Park Reserve

Embrace the cold during Winter Play Day at locations throughout Three Rivers Park District!

From fun winter activities to free or discounted rental equipment and day passes, it's a great opportunity to find your next winter hobby.

You can also join us at Hyland Lake Park Reserve for a winter festival with events for all ages running throughout the day.

Lake Rebecca Park Reserve

Experience tradition at one of Minnesota’s oldest trail runs! The Trail Mix course weaves though the gently rolling big woods and natural wetland landscape of Lake Rebecca Park Reserve. 

Distances of 6K, 12.5K, 25K and 50K offer new and experienced trail runners an opportunity to visit one of the West Metro’s premier parks and kick off the trail-running season.

Carver Park Reserve

Spin some fun into your summer! Join us in celebrating all things biking with a fun day of hands-on activities, educational sessions, demos, food and music and access to some of Minnesota’s best trail-riding.

Mark your calendar for Fall Fest 2025, our annual event celebrating the beautiful nature in Minnesota while highlighting some of Gale Woods Farm's unique offerings.

Elm Creek Park Reserve

Save the date for the 2025 Minnesota Nordic Ski Opener!

Skiers of all abilities and ages are invited to kick off winter with free skiing, free ski rental equipment and free mini lessons. 

Visitors can also enjoy the festivities at the winter village or test their skills during 2-8K cross-country skiing races.
