Community Events and Outreach
The goal of the Three Rivers Community Events and Outreach team is to connect every person with nature every day by bringing the parks to the community. We come equipped with informational material, sample park activities for all ages and abilities, educational material and friendly staff to answers questions. We participate in festivals, expos, health and resource fairs, back-to-school nights, farmers markets, and more.
Priority is given to partners that reach communities who are underrepresented in the parks or who may be unfamiliar or otherwise not have access to Three Rivers Park District opportunities. Early requests are encouraged.
Three Rivers Community Events and Outreach also builds awareness on why parks matter. We believe people who are connected to nature and happier, healthier and more likely to be environmental stewards.
