Cleary Lake Maintenance Building Construction

A new maintenance building is being constructed in Cleary Lake Regional Park. The building is anticipated to be complete and opened for use in early summer 2020.

The internal gravel park access road leading to the maintenance facility, beyond the Cleary Lake Dog Off-Leash Area, is temporarily closed to public use due to construction traffic. The access road will be re-opened when the building is complete; public use of the remainder of the park will not be affected

The new maintenance building will replace the current 70-year-old building (original farm house), which is beyond its useful life. The new facility will provide adequate space for staff, vehicles, equipment, and supplies to support the growing regional park and trail operations in Scott County.

This project is being delivered by Three Rivers Park District in partnership with Scott County. The project is partially funded by the Metropolitan Council Parks and Trails Legacy Fund Grant Program.
