Shred through one of the newest mountain bike trail systems in the Twin Cities at Big Woods Classic. On over 12 miles of tightly-weaving singletrack in Lake Rebecca Park Reserve, racers will climb and descend through dense oak and maple forests, open prairies and scenic wetlands that are home to a thriving trumpeter swan population – all while catching beautiful views of Lake Rebecca.

From kids with energy to burn to hard core distance bikers, there’s a race for everyone. In partnership with the Minnesota Mountain Bike Series.

Three Rivers Park District offers a number of mountain bike races throughout the year at Elm Creek, Murphy Hanrehan and Lake Rebecca Park Reserves. The weekly citizen races are popular for training, competing and socializing. Whether it’s the summer Dirt Cup Sprint Series, Elm Creek Menacing 40, fall nocturnal races or winter’s Frozen Frolic Fat Bike Races, you’re sure to find a race that is perfect for you.

From hard-core distance runners to casual walkers, this annual event offers a 10K, 5K & 1K—something for everyone.

Jan. 18–19 | Hyland
The Twin Cities Orthopedics Ski Rennet, presented by L.L. Bean, features two days of racing on world-class trails with challenging climbs and scenic views of Hyland Lake Park Reserve.

Jan. 19 | Hyland
This race offers the unique opportunity for fat bikers to ride on the world-class cross-country ski trails in Hyland Lake Park Reserve.
