Activity Passes

Certain activities require a pass to participate within Three Rivers Parks. Please read all rules regarding each pass.

Special Use Permits

A Special Use Permit is required for all commercial groups (regardless of size), all non-commercial groups of 30 or more people when using a park or trail facility, and commercial photography shoots. Fees for permit, use, and facility may apply. See more information on Special Use Permits.

Archery Passes

A pass is required for archers. Youth age 15 and younger are free but must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Boat Launch

A pass is required to park boat trailers at the boat launches from April 1 through November 30.

A pass is required for all skiers ages 12 and older during the winter season.

Disc Golf Passes

A pass is required for all disc golfers at the main courses. Passes are not required for the Lake Minnetonka practice area or the Hyland Lake Park Practice Area.

There are several passes and pass packages available for Hyland Hills Ski Area.

A pass is required for all riders ages 12 and older. Three Rivers Park District does not rent horses.


Commercial & Professional Photography

Photography Passes

Commercial and professional photography is welcomed at Three Rivers Parks. Annual photography passes can be purchased online, and hourly passes can be purchased at on-site locations.
