Twin Cities Live interviews Three Rivers staff at The Landing, where history comes alive in historical buildings. Watch their video to learn about upcoming activities and tours taking place at the park, and different ways people can interact with the beautiful space on the banks of the Minnesota River.
A pavement project will begin in late August at Richardson Nature Center in Hyland Lake Park Reserve in Bloomington. The project includes expansion of the parking lot, reconstruction of the paved trail where it travels near the parking area, resurfacing of the existing parking lot, ADA accessibility improvements, stormwater management improvements, new lighting, and restoration of the adjacent ground affected by construction.
Baker National Golf Course will replace the irrigation system on the Championship and Evergreen Courses beginning in late summer. Baker National will remain open, but work taking place in September and October may require temporary closure of one or two holes at a time, along with temporary relocation of tees and greens.

Three Rivers Park District is seeking public feedback through Labor Day to help determine the preferred route for the future CP Rail Regional Trail through Crystal, Golden Valley and New Hope. There are currently three routes under consideration for the north-south trail. To learn more and share your input, you can attend a virtual or in-person open house, take an online survey, comment on an interactive map of the routes under consideration, and provide written comments.
The Nine Mile Creek Regional Trail segment that has been under construction near Highway 169 is open. The segment includes a new boardwalk and trail sections that connect to the trail underpass beneath the highway. Trail users can access the new trail segment from near Smetana Road near the Hopkins/Minnetonka border, or from where the trail crosses Bren Road E. in Edina.
