2017 Give To The Max Day is Nov. 16
November 01, 2017
Three Rivers Park District’s Board of Commissioners, together with the Three Rivers Park District Foundation, is excited to announce that gifts made to the Foundation on Give to the Max Day, Thursday, November 16, will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $11,000!
This year, we are focused on funding two essential projects through your donations on Give to the Max Day, including:
- Adapted Programs – These programs provide opportunities for people with disabilities, including veterans, children, and seniors, to participate in outdoor programs like kayaking, mountain biking, archery, skiing, photography and more.
- Explorer Camps – These outdoor day camps take place in communities where they are needed most. Children in these underserved neighborhoods are introduced to life-enriching outdoor activities like fishing, biking, canoeing, kayaking and nature exploration.
Generous donations from last year’s Give to the Max Day also funded Adapted Programs and Explorer Camps, providing full scholarships for those in need. Your donations this year will continue that tradition of connecting everyone to the wonders of the parks.
Help us ensure that these important outdoor programs are available to all, regardless of ability, income, or location, by donating to the Three Rivers Park District Foundation on November 16!
All donations to the Foundation, a 501c3 organization, are tax-deductible.
We sincerely thank you for your support on Give to the Max Day 2017!
Together, we are changing lives outdoors!
