Volunteers are an important part of the effort to fight the spread and impact of invasives.

Ongoing volunteer efforts around the Park District include the Rapid Response and Early Detection (R2ED) team, Invasive Blitz, Beat Back Invasives and Adopt-a-Woodlot programs.

Volunteering

Short-term invasive species removal events are held in spring and fall. Training is provided at the start of each session. The minimum age for participation is 8. Youth must be accompanied by an adult.

Groups of 10 or more may inquire about arranging a special collection date: Meg.Duhr@ThreeRiversParks.org.

Registration is required

Choose a removal date(s) and register online. All volunteers, please check the hotline at 763-694-7849 on the day of the collection for any last minute changes or cancellations.
