Paved trail in North Mississippi Regional Park will be reconstructed
February 01, 2022
This year, Three Rivers Park District will reconstruct the paved multi-use trail in the portion of North Mississippi Regional Park located in the city of Brooklyn Center. The project will involve replacement of approximately 1.3 miles of trail, as well as accessibility improvements to rest areas along the trail and near the fishing pier.
Three Rivers is hosting a virtual open house about the project on February 24 to answer questions and provide more information. Learn more about the open house and the project.
Three Rivers Park District owns and operates the portion of North Mississippi Regional Park located in the city of Brooklyn Center (from 53rd Avenue N. to the Interstate Hwy. 694 overpass). Areas of the park located south of 53rd Avenue N., which are owned and operated by the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board, are unaffected by this project and will remain open regular hours.
