Parks and Trails Legacy Celebration is May 11 in Bloomington

The Parks and Trails Legacy Advisory Committee is holding an event in Bloomington on Friday, May 11, to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of passage of the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment.
The event includes Three Rivers Park District’s climbing wall, ¡Unidos Fest! Latin music festival, family-friendly activities, food trucks, and fireworks. Staff from the 10 Metropolitan Regional Parks System implementing agencies, the Metropolitan Council, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, and the Greater Minnesota Regional Parks and Trails Commission will gather ideas and perspectives on Legacy efforts thus far, and invite people to help shape priorities moving forward.

Parking is available in the ramp located across W. 84th Street from the Bandshell park. In case of rain, the event will be held at the Hyland Hills Chalet.
