A Message Regarding COVID-19

With the developing situation around COVID-19, we wanted to share a few updates with you regarding our plans and operations.

The health and safety of our park guests and employees is our top priority. We are constantly monitoring the situation and are prepared to make adjustments as needed to ensure we are providing the best possible service to our community. We have policies in place to support our employees and are committed to providing a safe environment for our park guests.

Here are the preventative measures we are implementing to minimize potential impacts to our park users:

  • Continued monitoring of the Minnesota Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommendations for guidance on prevention measures and closures
  • Increasing the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and facilities
  • Encouraging good personal hygiene, especially handwashing
  • Ensuring all handwashing locations are stocked with either soap or hand sanitizer

Our parks are open. Getting out to take a walk, ride your bike or breathe some fresh air can be very helpful during stressful and uncertain times like these. We will continue to maintain our high standards of cleanliness and are implementing additional maintenance operations at our facilities.

We are reviewing our program offerings and will be making adjustments and cancellations based on the recommendations of the Minnesota Department of Health. While some programs will be canceled, if you don’t feel comfortable or are not able to attend a program you have registered for, we will provide full refunds without penalty for programs occurring before April 30. Call our reservations office at 763.559.6700 for assistance with canceling or rescheduling.

We will continue to follow the recommendations of the Minnesota Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. As we proceed through this uncharted and ever-changing time, we will keep you updated on changes to our operations and assure you that the health and safety of our guests and staff will be at the forefront of our decisions.
