Golf Courses Update: Carts

April 21, 2020

Social distancing is essential and required in the fight against COVID-19. With this in mind, riding carts will be very difficult to offer and manage this golf season. Additionally, our fleet of carts will not be enough to support single riders throughout our courses.

We need everyone’s help to make golf available to everyone at Baker National, Cleary Lake, Eagle Lake and Glen Lake this spring and summer.

Carts will be limited to those who absolutely need them; all other golfers are asked to walk.

For those who need to ride, there will be a limit of no more than 2 carts per group:

  • Carts can be shared between individuals in the same household or family.
  • Individuals not in the same household or family can share a cart but with only one person riding at a time. Both bags can be on the cart, but one person drives while the other person walks — switching after 9 holes. Stop by the clubhouse between 9s and we can sanitize the cart, or bring your own disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer.

Carts will be in short supply, especially on busy days. They will be available strictly on a first-come, first-served basis by tee time (not arrival time to the course). If no carts are available at your tee time, you can wait for the next one to come off the course. We will wipe it down and turn it around as fast as possible and do our best to get you out at the next available tee time. No guarantees will be made that you can get on the course if you miss your tee time waiting for a cart.

Tee times can be reserved online. Please pay at the clubhouse before your round.
