This 57-site rustic public campground is located near an unguarded beach, play equipment, miles of trails and other park amenities for true outdoor fun. Rustic group campsites are also available for reservation.

Midweek Camping Special
Reserve a campsite or RV site at Lake Auburn Campground for one night and get a second, consecutive night half off with no reservation fee. Located within Carver Park Reserve, which offers miles of biking and hiking trails, an archery range, a play area, nature center, picnic areas, boat access, watercraft rentals and more.

About the Sites
55 drive-in sites, 2 hike-in sites and 1 bicycle-in-only campsite.
Each site has a picnic table and fire ring with pit latrines (wheelchair accessible) and drinking fountains nearby; no showers or electricity. Each site accommodates two tents or one tent and one RV, with a maximum of six people. Site 57 accommodates up to 8 people. RV dump station (fee applies).
Campground Office Hours
The office will be closed, but staff will be available through the window.
Thursday-Sunday: 9 AM-8 PM
The bike-in campsite at Lake Auburn Campground is accessed by the Lake Minnetonka LRT Regional Trail. Reservations are required in 2020, and sites are limited to members of the same household. Camping fee is $18.50 per night. Maximum 8 people.
Campsite amenities include:
- Space for up to six tents
- A common area with a fire ring
- Picnic tables
- Bike racks
- All the other nearby facilities of Carver Park Reserve
Canoes, kayaks, rowboats, and other recreation equipment is available to rent at the campground. The bike and child trailer are currently unavailable.
Thursday–Sunday: Noon-7 PM,
New in 2020: All boat rentals must be reserved online. Boats can be reserved in two-hour time blocks up to seven days in advance. Same-day reservations are available online.

Three Rivers Park District offers select campsites to help aid those with mobility impairments. Amenities at these sites include accessible picnic tables, accessible fire pits, more level terrain and close proximity to bathrooms. Baker Campground also has two camper cabins which feature an entry ramp and more space between the beds for maneuvering. Location of these sites is noted on the campground maps.
