Elm Creek Swim Pond
The Elm Creek swim pond offers filtered, chlorinated water, a sand beach, changing shelter, concessions and bathroom facilities. A pass is required for ages 1 year and older.

Fees & Passes
A daily or season wristband is required to use the swim ponds.
There are no replacements for lost wristbands. If you lose a wristband, you must purchase a new one.
Season Wristbands
Season wristband purchases are closed for the season. Wristbands will be available for purchase in Spring 2027.
When available, purchase your season wristband for $25 (tax included) at the swim pond, online or by calling Reservations at 763-559-6700.
The season wristband is valid at both the Elm Creek and Lake Minnetonka swim ponds.
Daily Wristbands
When available, daily passes can be purchased on-site for $9 (tax included) at both the Elm Creek and Lake Minnetonka swim ponds.
Tax-Exempt or Large Groups
Daily passes for groups of 20 or more must be arranged in advance. A tax exemption certificate (ST3 form) must be on file with the Three Rivers Park District Guest Services Office prior to your visit.

Swim Pond Rules
- Wristbands required for guests 1 year and older, on the sand or in the water.
- Children 10 years of age and under must be supervised by a parent or responsible person.
- Life jackets and US Coast Guard approved Personal Flotation Devices (PFD) may be worn in the pond.
- Children, poor swimmers and persons using a PFD must be within arm’s reach of a responsible person.
- Persons using inflatable/flotation equipment with a length of 3 feet or less must remain in the shallow side of the red buoyed area.
- Use of kick boards, rafts and inflatable floatation equipment larger than 3 feet is not permitted.
- Staff may restrict the use of inflatable and flotation equipment at their discretion.
- No diving.
- No rough play.
- Stay off ropes, buoys, filters, skimmers and the wheel ramp handrail.
- Do not dig holes deeper than 1 foot in the sand; it can damage the pond’s protective liner.
- Swim diapers are required for all who are in diapers or pull-ups.
- Smoking, tobacco, pets and glass objects are not permitted.
Park ordinance and swim pond rules are strictly enforced.
Three Rivers has multiple models of wheelchairs for beach use available to rent, which can be used in the swim pond or the sand.
Use a personal wheelchair or one of the beach wheelchairs on the ADA accessible wheelchair ramp leading to the water. Concrete pathways leading up to the ramp allows for easy access into the water without having to roll through sand.
