Cleary Lake Campground

Roughing it was never so easy. Several campsites ranging in size from small to large are located in Cleary Lake Regional Park for outdoor enthusiasts, including 25 sites for tents only, two RV sites with full hookups, and three group campsites.

Camping areas

Cleary Lake Regional Park has five camping areas. Campground encourages recycling and composting. Get tips for green camping.

Campsites

Each site has a picnic table and fire ring with a water pump nearby. There is a centrally located bathroom and shower facility.

  • Basswood: 14 campsites and two RV sites
    • Walk-in campsites have no electricity
    • RV sites have full hookups with water, sewer and electric
    • Shelter is available to all campers staying at the Basswood camping area
  • White Pine: six campsites
    • Tent-only, drive-in sites (no RVs) with no electricity

Group Campsites

Cleary has three group campsites. 

  • Cleary Point
    • Capacity: 80 people/8 vehicles
    • Includes one small dock and four electrical hook-ups
    • Fire ring and picnic tables
    • Centrally located bathroom and shower facility
    • Dump station available for registered guests
  • Oak Grove
    • Capacity: 60 people/parking in overflow parking lot (no vehicle parking within campsite area)

  • April–May: 8 AM–8 PM, daily
  • June–August: 7 AM–9 PM, daily
  • September: 8 AM–8 PM, daily
  • October: 9 AM–6 PM, daily
