Scouts & Youth Leaders
Find numerous events for scouts of all ages, like outdoor exploration, badge programs, overnight stays and more. Scouts can fulfill badge requirements and personal interests by attending one of the many scheduled scout programs. They can also develop an understanding of science, the natural world, history, agriculture, art and learn new life-long recreation skills. Program topics include archery, orienteering, survival and more.
Join a Program
Preregistration is required for all scheduled programs unless noted. Adult leaders are required to attend (free of charge unless noted) with scouts ages 5-11. Scouts ages 12-17 may attend unaccompanied with a signed waiver. While scouts are welcome to take part in any of our public programs, unique opportunities created just for scouts are added to our program calendar on an ongoing basis. Please be sure to sign up for our email newsletter below, and visit our online calendar for the latest offerings.
Let us create a custom program on a topic of your choice and at a time and place that is convenient to you. Programs are hands-on experiences for scouts three years and older.
Field trips and programs are offered at sites across Three Rivers, at schools or the location of your choice.
Volunteer Service Projects
Three Rivers is grateful for the help of volunteers and offers projects for groups and individuals. Opportunities include Global Youth Service Day, garlic mustard and buckthorn removals, prairie seed collection and more.
SCOUTING AWARD PROJECTS
Limited projects are available each year for Girl Scouts working toward their Gold or Silver awards and Boy Scouts working toward their Eagle Scout Award. Past projects have involved park maintenance, outdoor education and natural resources.
