


Hyland Visitor Center
The Hyland Visitor Center is located within Hyland's Recreation Area, which includes an award-winning play area. The visitor center features limited concessions, restrooms, a fire place, and cross-country ski rental in winter.

Parking
Daily parking fees apply to commercial vehicles, buses, or vans. Reservations for commercial vehicles must be made at least two weeks in advance by calling 763.559.6700.
Boat Rentals
Canoe, kayak, rowboat, paddleboat and stand-up paddleboard rentals are available.

Hours
- Memorial Day Weekend-Labor Day: Noon-7 PM, daily
- Sept. 8-27: Noon-6 PM, Saturday & Sunday
New in 2020: Boat rentals can be reserved online or in person at the visitor center. Boats can be reserved in two-hour time blocks up to seven days in advance. Same-day reservations are available.
Richardson Nature Center
Richardson Nature Center provides a place for people to explore nature and engage with their environment. Education programs are available for groups and individuals.
Rental Spaces
Hyland Visitor Center can be reserved for groups and offers scenic views of Hyland Lake and the renowned creative play area just outside.
Winter
Cross-Country Skiing
Hyland offers 9.5 miles of groomed ski trails, with 5 miles of lit trails and three miles that have snowmaking, allowing for an extended season. Check trail conditions before you head out.
Ski Passes
A daily or annual Three Rivers cross-country ski pass is required.
Ski Rentals
NEW FOR THE 2020-21 SEASON: Due to indoor capacity limits and increased demand, advance equipment reservation is required. Cross-country ski sets can be reserved up to seven days in advance as trail conditions allow; same-day reservations are available. Reservations can be made online or over the phone by calling 763.559.6700.
