Light Rail Construction
Portions of nearby trails may be closed for light rail construction, but parking and access to the Nine Mile Creek, Lake Minnetonka, Minnesota River Bluffs and North Cedar Lake trails are still available.

In Partnership
The Depot is operated as a partnership of the City of Hopkins, City of Minnetonka, Hopkins School District and Three Rivers Park District.
Trailhead facilities at The Depot include parking, restrooms and a drinking fountain. These regional trails operated by Three Rivers Park District are near The Depot: Cedar Lake Regional Trail, North Cedar Lake Regional Trail, Lake Minnetonka Regional Trail, Minnesota River Bluffs Regional Trail and Nine Mile Creek Regional Trail.
Three Rivers' Contributions
Three Rivers has made infrastructure improvements and enhancements to The Depot, including solar panels on the roof, reconstruction of the deck to meet ADA accessibility requirements, repair of the paver walkway outside the building, repair and tuckpointing of the brick on the building's exterior, installation of a new sign and a new drinking fountain on The Depot's exterior. Starting in April 2023, portable restrooms and water will be available at the trailhead.
