When winter sets in, Baker Winter Trailhead becomes your launching point for outdoor fun. Whiz down the sledding hill or glide along groomed cross-country ski trails. Stop into the Baker Clubhouse for a snack, beverage or equipment rentals.
2019-2020 Construction Near Baker Campground
Three Rivers will stabilize 2,200 feet of stream channel near Baker Campground beginning November 2019 and ending in May 2020. The campground loop will remain open, but please be aware and careful of construction in the area. Learn more.

Baker offers high-quality trails for skiers of all abilities. Trails groomed daily for classic and skate skiing take you through woods and meadow. A Three Rivers Park District daily or annual pass is required for skiers ages 12 and older. Passes may be purchased online or at the clubhouse.
The clubhouse is closed.
At the Baker Clubhouse, you can rent cross-country skis, snowshoes, sleds, a child ski trailer and a sit ski. Concessions and daily and annual ski passes are also available.
Daily: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, depending on trail conditions.
Cross-Country Ski Passes
Skiers age 12 and older are required to have a daily or annual Three Rivers ski pass. Purchase your annual pass ahead of time, or buy a daily or annual pass at the Baker Clubhouse.

The multi-use trail allows for hiking, snowshoeing, dog walking (on leash), skijoring, dog sledding, and mountain biking. The trail can be accessed by parking at the horse trailer lot, located south on County Road 201 (Homestead Trail).
The campground road is plowed for hiking and dogs on-leash. You can access the road by parking at the Baker Campground entrance. Snowshoeing is allowed throughout the campground.
