Invasive Species Work
Emerald ash borer, a serious invasive pest that kills ash trees, has been found in this park. We are actively monitoring and managing this situation by removing and replacing infected trees. Baker Campground has 203 sites, including 103 with electricity. Each site can accommodate two tents or one tent and one RV, and a maximum of eight people. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring, with wheelchair accessible showers and flush toilets nearby. There is an RV dump station available.

Celebrate Halloween with a memorable weekend at Baker Campground. Decorate your campsite in one of this year’s themes: Fang-tastic, Outer Space and Boo Birds. An afternoon of activities that includes something for everyone with fun family-friendly games, outdoor recreation and pumpkin carving. In the evening, participate in trick-or-treating through the campground, campsite awards and live entertainment. Campsite reservation and program fee required.
During the camping season (late April to late October), a variety of recreation equipment is available to rent at the park, including canoes, kayaks, paddleboats, rowboats and stand-up paddleboards on the waterfront (weekends only). Bicycles and child trailers can be rented at the campground office.
Bicycle Rental Hours

Watercraft Rental Hours
Boats can be reserved online up to seven days in advance or in person. Reserving online is encouraged to ensure availability.
Baker has five 12’x16’ cabins. Each features a screened-in porch, table, benches and wooden bunk beds with mattresses, electricity, heat, overhead lighting, ceiling fans and outlets. Located near a modern restroom facility that includes showers, changing rooms and dishwashing sinks. Cabins sleep five or six people and two are accessible for people with disabilities.
Five group campsites offer many options: from simple, open-air locations to spots with shelter, electricity, water, and flush toilets. For those who want to brave the cold, Half Moon Group Camp is available for winter stays. All group camps require reservations; call 763-559-6700 for more information and availability.
Three Rivers Park District offers select campsites to help aid those with mobility impairments. Amenities at these sites include accessible picnic tables, accessible fire pits, more level terrain and close proximity to bathrooms. Baker Campground also has two camper cabins which feature an entry ramp and more space between the beds for maneuvering. Location of these sites is noted on the campground maps.
