Picnic Areas

Remember packing a picnic and heading outside as a kid? Make new memories eating al fresco at a Three Rivers park picnic area in a beautiful, natural setting. All sites have picnic tables, and most sites have other basic amenities including water fountains and permanent grills. Look for a peaceful, serene location or set up just steps from a rip-roaring play area. Come find your favorite spot.

General Picnic Areas

General picnic areas are available for first-come, first-served use during regular park hours. Please note these picnic areas are not cleaned or sanitized between each use.

For June 2020, group picnic areas will be available for free on a first-come, first-served basis. Group size is limited to 10 people or fewer. Please note that picnic areas will not be sanitized between groups.

Reservable picnic areas and small pavilions will be available for new reservations starting July 1. The maximum gathering sizes are 25 people for outdoor picnic areas and 10 people for small indoor pavilions.

Rental Equipment

Enhance your picnic experience. From bocce to volleyball to even a climbing wall, Three Rivers offers rental equipment for your event.

Three Rivers no longer accepts plastic bags in recycling bins.

In Three Rivers, having fun doesn't have to cost a thing. From free parking to free activities to free programs and events, find your adventure!
