- Free day passes for dog off-leash areas and cross-country ski trails
- Discounted rates on tubing, downhill skiing and snowboarding
- Free beginner classic and skate cross-country ski lessons at select locations
- Bonfires and free s'mores at select locations

Learn how to ski for free on Free Play Snow Day by signing up for a lesson. Registration required. One lesson per person.
Beginner Classic Lesson
Carver Park Reserve*, 3-4:30 PM, ages 18+
Family Classic Lessons
Hyland Lake Park Reserve, Noon-1:30 PM, ages 6+
Cleary Lake Regional Park**, 9:30-11 AM, ages 6+
Classic Ski Tours
Cleary Lake Regional Park**, Noon-1:30 PM, ages 12+
Baker Park Reserve*, Noon-1:30 PM, ages 12+
Beginner Skate Lessons
Hyland Lake Park Reserve, 9:30-11 AM, ages 18+
Baker Park Reserve*, 9:30-11 AM, ages 18+
*If natural snow conditions are poor, lessons at Baker and Carver park reserves will be moved to Elm Creek Park Reserve.
**If natural snow conditions are poor, lessons at Cleary Lake Regional Park will be moved to Hyland Lake Park Reserve.
