Tubing

If you like sledding, you’ll love snow tubing! Ride a moving sidewalk up a 10-story hill and then soar back down on a specially designed inner tube. Once you get to the bottom, do it all over again! At Elm Creek in Maple Grove, all of the tubing lanes are designed for safety and fun. All you need are warm winter clothes—Three Rivers supplies the rest.

Hours & Rates

Tubing is closed for the season.

Advance reservations are strongly encouraged; please check availability online before coming to the hill. Reservations can be made online or by calling our reservations office at 763-559-6700. A maximum of 10 tubes per day can be reserved.

Rules & Guidelines

General Rules

  • Riders must be at least 36" tall or 4 years of age.
  • All tubers must have and display a lift ticket.
  • One person per tube.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made prior to 48 hours before your reservation for a refund.
  • No changes or rescheduling of reservations will be allowed within 48 hours of your start time.
  • Refunds will be given if conditions do not permit tubing or if temperatures reach -25 degrees F or windchill temperatures reach -35 degrees F.

Groups

The tubing hill is the perfect place for a group outing. Think of Three Rivers Park District when planning your next scout, school, business, church or youth event. For groups of 30 or more, reservations are recommended. You may also receive tubing at a reduced rate of $14/person on weekdays and after 4 PM on weekends.

Times in which tubing group reservations are considered:

  • Wednesdays: 10 AM–9 PM
  • Thursdays: 10 AM– 9 PM
  • Fridays: 10 AM–9 PM
  • Saturdays: 10 AM–9 PM
  • Sundays: 10 AM–7 PM

Three Rivers features 80 miles of groomed cross-country ski trails at various locations. Trails are available for skiers of all skill levels. Don't forget to check trail conditions before you head out.

New this season - cross-country ski equipment rentals are available online and are encouraged before arriving at the park.

Three Rivers offers trails of varying difficulty for snowshoers of all skill levels. It’s a great way for the entire family to take in the scenes of a Minnesota winter. Please note: Snowshoeing is not permitted on cross-country ski trails unless otherwise noted.
