The Landing is open seasonally to the public. The Visitor Center is located at the Main (east) Entrance of the park. The West Entrance is for scheduled school groups, site rentals (weddings), and select program parking only. Historic buildings are open only during guided tours. Interiors may be viewed any time the site is open through glass doors and windows. A thematic self-guided brochure is available in the Visitor Center and building signs provide information about the structures. Several cell phone audio tour stops are provided in the Village. Horse-drawn trolley service is offered on a limited schedule. When trolleys are not present, visitors should plan on walking 1-2 miles during their visit.
Group tours and site rentals are available by reservation. Contact the Visitor Center at 763.694.7784 to make a reservation or for additional information.
Park Access
Park access is free when The Landing is open. Visitors may walk the river trail and grounds. Visitors may not participate in fee-based programs unless they pay the required fee. No dogs or bicycles are allowed in The Landing.

Scheduled Group Programs
The following fees apply to on-site scheduled group programs:
- 2-hour program: $6.25 per participant; $75 minimum
- 3-hour program: $8 per participant; $100 minimum
- 4-hour program: $10 per participant; $100 minimum
Two adults free with each pre-booked group of 25.
