Winter sports enthusiasts love Hyland Ski & Snowboard Area (HSSA). Located within Hyland Lake Park Reserve, HSSA is the place for downhill skiing and snowboarding in the metro area. Our terrain park is full of progressive and innovative features and we are known for some of the best snowmaking and grooming in the Midwest. If you've never hit the slopes or want to freshen up your skills, we also offer lessons through our SnowSports Academy.

Cross-country skiing at HSSA is open to the public during the following hours:
Monday-Friday: 7 AM-10 AM
Saturday, Sunday, and holidays*: 7 AM-9 AM
* Holidays include Dec. 22-31, Jan. 16, Feb. 20. Closed Dec. 25.
