Angela Eldred
LPGa Teaching Professional

Angela is a member of the LPGA Teaching and Club membership. She returns to the golf academy to start her ninth season as a golf professional. Using her teaching degree from Bethel University, she enjoys working with students of all levels and abilities. Angela focuses on the fundamentals and keeping things simple. She stands by the philosophy that there is not one “perfect swing,” but instead a “perfect swing” for each individual student. She has a great background in The First Tee program, as well as Hook-A-Kid-On-Golf and the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf. Through Angela’s enthusiasm and relaxed style, golfers will enjoy their golf lessons.

Chad Fortney
PGA Teaching Professional

Originally from West Salem, WI, Chad competed at the Division III Collegiate level and brings ten years of teaching experience to the Golf Academy. Along with a huge emphasis on the short game and course strategy, Chad feels that hitting the ball solidly is an important aspect to enjoying the game, which, in turn, leads to a better score. He teaches swing awareness, alignment and key positions to promote a consistent, solid swing.

Brian Pabst
The Golf Academy Director of Instruction, The First Tee Programming Director

Brian is the Director of Instruction for The Golf Academy. During his tenure, he has given thousands of lessons to golfers of all ages and abilities. As a recognized coach of The First Tee, Brian is passionate about the program and thoroughly enjoys teaching golf and life skills to participants. The Minnesota Section of the PGA named him the 2008 Junior Golf Leader.

Brian’s students range from new golfers to club champions. He uses video analysis with the majority of his students. As the leader of the Golf Academy, Brian works hard to ensure that participants have an enjoyable learning experience.
