General Programs
Plan a group outing to the Settlement. From Natural History to Outdoor Life Skills and beyond, our programs span topics that will appeal to many ages and interests. We can accommodate groups for day or overnight use. Review our Fees & Policies.
Programs typically last 1.5 hours with length adapted to your needs. Adults assisting or chaperoning children are not charged unless actively participating in programs. Scout Programs
Bring your scout troop to the Settlement! Professional naturalists will teach a program designed to help scouts earn badges. We accommodate groups for day or overnight use. Review our Fees & Policies. Please call 763.694.7724 for more information or to make a reservation.
Programs typically last 1.5 hours. We strive to cover as much of the scout badge requirements as possible, but cannot guarantee we will cover every requirement. Adults are only charged if actively participating in such activities as canoeing or snowshoeing. Explore our Scout programs to decide which programs meet your needs. Senior Programs
Education and adventure doesn't have to stop with age. Baker Near-Wilderness Settlement offers seasonal and year-round programs for the more mature set. Programs are $12 per person (including lunch). Maximum group size is 60; minimum is 12. All programs are handicap accessible. Program options include:
• Catered Lunch (before or after program)
• Half-hour program (slides or speaker)
• Half-hour hike/activity or social time in the lodge
