Join the Three Rivers Volunteer Team

Enrich yourself and your community through volunteering at Three Rivers Park District as a Program Assistant or Interpreter, Natural Resources Monitor or Surveyor, Project Assistant, Park Patroller or Ski Patroller.

Explore opportunities, meet staff and get started by attending a Volunteer Opportunities Open House. Learn about Three Rivers Park District and how to volunteer in natural resources, recreation, parks and trails, golf, cultural history, art, farming and nature programs.

  • Saturday, March 27: 10:30 AM–noon | The Landing-Minnesota River Heritage Park, Shakopee
  • Tuesday, May 4: 6:30–8:00 PM | French (Visitor Center), Plymouth
  • Tuesday, June 15: 6:30–8:00 PM | Hyland (Ski & Snowboard Area chalet), Bloomington
  • Saturday, July 24: 10:30 AM–noon | Carver (Lowry Nature Center), Victoria
  • Tuesday, September 7: 6:30–8:00 PM | North Mississippi (Kroening Interpretive Center), Brooklyn Center
  • Saturday, October 23: 10:30 AM–noon | Hyland (Richardson Nature Center), Bloomington

Park District Volunteers earn benefits such as a Volunteer Fun Pass after 30 hours of service. The Volunteer Fun Pass offers free or discounted access to park facilities with user fees.
