Near-Wilderness Parties
The Baker Near-Wilderness Settlement offers a variety of nature-oriented party themes. Guests will have fun outdoors - and learn something too!
Parties can be held any days but Saturdays, depending on Lodge availability. There is a limit of 15 children per party. The cost is $125. Reservations include a 1½-hour naturalist-led program and 1-hour Lodge rental for gift-opening and serving your own refreshments. (Additional Lodge rental is $75 per hour.) Choose from:

• Snowshoeing Party (5+): Dec. – March

Birthdays at the Farm
Celebrate your birthday with unique, hands-on experiences at Gale Woods Farm! Your party will include a one-hour educator-led barn tour that includes meeting the animals and helping with chores and one-hour room rental for gift opening and serving your own refreshments.
Birthdays at the Farm are offered year-round and are appropriate for children aged three and older. The cost is $100 (excluding equipment rental for recreation activities) for up to 15 children and six adults. You can also choose to participate in additional, one-half hour staff-led recreation or farm arts activities for $50 per activity (subject to availability).
Creative Play Parties
When you throw a party at the Hyland Lake Park Reserve, everyone leaves happy. Our 16,000 square foot creative play area is award winning and, best of all, lots of fun!
Creative Play Parties are scheduled in three-hour blocks and include 1–2 picnic tables with coverings and a Hyland VIP hat for the birthday honoree. Parties are offered from May to September on weekdays after 2:00 PM or weekends, 9:00 AM–noon, 12:30–3:30 PM, or 4:00–7:00 PM (time slot must include set-up and clean-up). The cost is $40 per table (maximum two tables to accommodate up to 24 children).
Choose to include our Hassle-free Food Special of hotdogs, chips and a small soda for an additional $3.50 per child (must order for a minimum of six children). You can also choose to participate in Naturalist-led activities. Please call for availability.
Please, no piñatas.
Wild Birthday Parties
Wild Birthday Parties include a one-hour outdoor activity with a party leader, followed by an open hour for games, gift opening and refreshments.
Wild Birthday Parties are offered year-round and are appropriate for children aged four and older. The cost is $85 for up to 15 children and six adults. Please choose from the following locations:

Elm Creek Park Reserve, Eastman Nature Center
Hyland Lake Park Reserve, Richardson Nature Center
Hyland Lake Park Reserve, Visitor Center

Winter Parties
The ultimate birthday rush! At the Elm Creek Winter Recreation Area, you and your guests can choose to tube or snowboard on our lighted slopes with groomed hills and snowmaking.
Parties are offered mid-December through mid-March and accommodate 8–20 guests*. Your 2½-hour time block includes reserved tables in the Chalet, activity passes and a group meal of pizza, hamburgers or hotdogs. The cost is $17.00 per person for a two-hour tube pass and rental or $20.00 per person for an all-day snowboarding pass (snowboard rental not included). Everyone in the group must do the same activity.
*Parties cannot be reserved December 21 - January 3, or on holidays.
