Art-tastic Parties at Silverwood
Silverwood is an art-tastic place for a birthday party! Guests can choose from a variety of art-inspired party themes. Birthday parties are a two-hour celebration for ages four and up. The first hour is available for an art activity led by a professional art educator. The second hour is yours to enjoy. We provide a room with tables, chairs and a sink. You provide refreshments, decorations, compostable or reuseable dishware and utensils.
The fee (up to 15 participants) is $100 for all activities except clay; $150 for a clay activity. The cost for each additional child for all activities is $5. There is a maximum of 20 children. Call 763.694.7707 to schedule your party on Sundays 1-3 PM or Tuesdays 5-7 PM. Choose from:

Birthdays at the Farm
Celebrate your birthday with unique, hands-on experiences at Gale Woods Farm! Birthdays at the Farm are offered year-round and are appropriate for children age 2 and older. Please call 763.694.2001 for further details and scheduling.
May-October
Your party will participate in our Saturday Mornings on the Farm program and pay the program fee of $5/person. Private indoor space is not available for your party, but you are welcome to bring unlimited number of guests and use one of our outdoor picnic areas. We do have limited availability on other days of the week.
November-April
Your party will include a one-hour educator-led barn tour that includes meeting the animals and helping with chores and one-hour room rental for gift opening and serving your own refreshments. The cost is $100 for up to 15 children and six adults. You can also choose to participate in additional, one-half hour staff-led recreation or farm arts activities for $50 per activity.
Creative Play Parties
When you throw a party at the Hyland Lake Park Reserve, everyone leaves happy. Our 16,000 square foot creative play area is award winning and, best of all, lots of fun!
Creative Play Parties are scheduled in 2.5-hour blocks and include 1–2 picnic tables and a Hyland VIP hat for the birthday honoree. Parties are offered from May to September on weekdays after 3 and on weekends, 9:30 AM–noon, 12:30–3 PM, or 3:30–6 PM (hours include set-up and clean-up). The cost is $40 per table (maximum two tables to accommodate up to 24 kids). Please call 763.694.7687 for further details and scheduling.
Cake, food, paper products and decorations are the responsibility of the parent/guardian. Piñatas not allowed.
Near-Wilderness Parties
The Baker Near-Wilderness Settlement offers a variety of nature-oriented party themes. Guests will have fun outdoors - and learn something too!
Parties can be held any days but Saturdays, depending on Lodge availability. There is a limit of 15 children per party. The cost is $125. Reservations include a 1.5-hour naturalist-led program and 1-hour Lodge rental for gift-opening and serving your own refreshments. (Additional Lodge rental is $75 per hour.) Wild Birthday Parties
Kids will enjoy a one-hour outdoor activity with a party leader, followed by an open hour for games, gift opening and refreshments.
Wild Birthday Parties are offered year-round and are appropriate for children age four and older. The cost is $90 for up to 15 children and six adults. We recommend calling a minimum of six weeks in advance to request a date. Please choose from the following locations:
