Do you like hunting? Do you want to learn to shoot a shotgun? Turkey hunting camp is designed for beginning hunters and provides extensive hands-on instruction in firearms safety, turkey ecology, turkey calling, shooting techniques, GPS, orienteering, and much more. Campers also participate in tradition summer camp activities such as rock climbing, canoeing, fishing, swimming, and more! Participants will earn a MN DNR Firearms Safety Certificate (camp is also open to campers that already possess a certificate). Sponsored by the National Wild Turkey Federation. Turkey hunting camp is a day camp from 9am-4pm; except campers will stay overnight in log cabins Thursday night. Please call Ryan Barth at 763-694-7857 to register.
