Turkey Hunting Camp

Camp is designed for beginning hunters and provides extensive hands-on instruction in firearms safety, turkey ecology, turkey calling, shooting techniques, GPS, orienteering, and much more. Campers also participate in traditional summer camp activities such as rock climbing, canoeing, fishing, and swimming! Participants can earn a MN DNR Firearms Safety Certificate (camp is also open to campers who already possess a certificate). Campers will shoot a shotgun and .22 at a local gun range. Sponsored by the National Wild Turkey Federation. Turkey hunting camp is a day camp from 9 AM to 4 PM, except Thursday campers will stay overnight in log cabins.
