Party in the Park

Join Eastman Nature Center staff at the Elm Creek Picnic Area, Deer shelter, for a day of family fun. Become a detective on a camouflage insect safari. Catch and release land bugs with a jar. Race minnows, scoop for critters in the ?pond,? and meet live animals. Run an obstacle course, discover buried treasure, and play other games. Parachute fun and musical activities will take place every half hour. A small snack is provided. Bring a blanket and picnic lunch and don?t forget the camera. Rain or shine. Drop in anytime. Reservations recommended by phone only. $5/child age 2+, $3/adults. Children under 2 are admitted free.
