Summer Camps

Lifelong memories are made at summer camp! There are camps for kids ages 4-15 on topics including nature exploration, outdoor recreation, golf, fishing, farming and art. Campers will gain an appreciation for nature while making new friends and memories. Summer camps are available at the Baker Outdoor Learning Center, Gale Woods Farm, nature and visitor centers, and golf facilities.

Registration Dates and Details

The virtual waiting room will be in place for both priority and general registration.

  • Priority registration for suburban Hennepin County and Scott County begins Tuesday, February 27 at 7 AM. ZIP codes included in priority registration are listed below.
  • General registration for everyone begins Thursday, February 29 at 7 AM.

How to Register

Registration Information

Register online or by calling 763-559-6700.

Dates, times and fees vary. Reservations must be received at least two weeks in advance.

To ensure a smooth registration process:

  • Log on to your account to verify that your household information is up-to-date, with a birth date filled out. 
  • Don't have an account? Create one now
  • Have information about your child ready, including food allergies, medications, emergency contact information, health concerns, and any other conditions that may affect participation.
  • Review the program behavior guidelines before registering.

Financial Assistance, Inclusion and Accessibility

Financial Assistance

Scholarships are available for program fees. Recreation Pass Plus program discounts apply, and financial assistance is also available for qualified groups. Call 763-559-6700 or review our fee assistance information online.

Inclusion & Program Support

Inclusion and Program Support Staff are qualified staff who can help participants meet their individual safety or behavioral needs through assistance and sensory needs, social interactions or redirection during program activities. If this free service would benefit your child, please select that you’d like more information during registration.

Cancellation and Transfer Policy

Cancellations or transfers made at least 30 days in advance are 80 percent refundable. Cancellations or transfers made less than 30 days prior to the start date are not refundable. Programs take place rain or shine. If a program is cancelled by park staff, you will be notified and a full refund or credit will be issued upon request.
