Minnesota has one of the top ten highest populations of horses in the country. If you have a horse and are looking for a place to ride, we have miles of scenic trails to choose from. Our natural woodlands and grasslands provide a beautiful setting for riders. You can even enjoy group horse camping in some of our parks!
Winter Horseback Riding
Although the summer horse trails are closed for the season, you can take advantage of winter riding opportunities at Murphy-Hanrehan, Lake Rebecca and Crow-Hassan Park Reserves. Designated trails are currently open. See park pages for winter trail maps.

Horseback Riding Passes
A pass is required for all riders age 12 and older. Three Rivers Park District does not rent horses.
